I'm planning a six week trip to South America (mainly Argentina, Chile, and Brazil, maybe a bit of Uruguay). This is my first time travelling and I will be on my own for a significant part of the trip. Any advice or feedback from anyone who's done this before?

I've travelled around South America alone and encountered no problems. The only advice would be to learn some Spanish and Portuguese before you go. Buen viaje!
