Hi -

I recently saw a BUNAC advertisement for opportunities to temp and travel abroad (specifically Australia and/or New Zealand). Is this something worth doing? I'd like to spend around 3 months in either one of the countries, to learn more about their cultures and get settled in the idea of traveling/working alone and abroad.

My flatmate from uni did something similar with BUNAC and loved it. This was a few years ago now, but it sounded great.
I think you can get your return flight anytime after you leave BUNAC, and she met up with people who she'd been working with and travelled with them for a couple of months afterwards.
Also, they seem to be a prety reputable company.
I think its a great idea!
